The Bottleneck Sound

 1.50

In today’s video I wanna share a new study dedicated to a very particular and characteristic style.

In the traditional blues the use of the resophonic guitar is widespread, generally with a metal guitar, to be used with the bottleneck to produce this particular and recognizable sound.

Originally, as the name implies, the bottleneck was obtained from a “neck of a bottle” and was used to produce notes by sliding along the fretboard.

In today’s song I use an open D tuning .

The song is a traditional alternating bass that incorporates the sounds of traditional country blues.
