In this Cordiario appointment I wanna share a lick based on a “Turnaround” in the key of C.
Studying licks is an excellent strategy to approach improvisation: they will allow us to have some ideas available to use when we need them.
To be able to use them in different contexts, it is useful to transport the starting lick in different keys, as in this video, so as to exploit the idea in many different ways.
This lick can be used in the context of a blues in the key of C but not only.
